Dr. Teo has several ongoing and historical projects and partnership. Some of their early work was focused on traditional approaches to research that keep the “ownership” of data and analysis in the hands of the researcher, and the doing and activity in the hands of the participants (e.g., kids, families, teachers). In more recent years, Dr. Teo has moved to more collaborative partnerships in which practice and research become jointly “owned” endeavors. Their partnerships focus on co-design (making theory-informed learning designs together) and co-research (studying existing practices together).
