Statement of Innovation in Authorship Leadership
Please note, Dr. Keifert often engages in authorship leadership through (a) joint first-authorship (e.g., Scipio et al., online; Daniel et al., 2023; Pierson et al., 2023) and (b) supporting students’ first authorship (e.g., S Lee et al., online; Xiao et al., 2024a, 2024b). Dr. Keifert’s full CV highlights the 87% of publications that include leadership in writing including solo authorship, traditional first authorship, collaborative first-authorship, and student first author. Here, text under the DOI indicates these roles. In most cases, publications include this information on the first page and/or in the Authorship & Acknowledgements section at the end of the paper.
Dr. Keifert plans to write on the development of co-first authorship practices, an emergent methodology for centering marginalized voices and creating collaborative framework and. methods for the study of learning in diverse settings.
